Frequently Asked Questions
Catamarans

Yes. Our 75-ton travel lift features a 25-foot clear inside beam, allowing us to safely haul most modern cruising catamarans (such as Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, and Leopard models) without the need for specialized wide-beam trailers.
-
We offer secure, level land storage perfect for catamarans. Whether you need a quick "wash and hang" for a survey or multi-month winter storage, we provide ample spacing between vessels to ensure your multihull is accessible and safe.
-
Absolutely. After a long passage from the Caribbean, your systems need more than just a flush. Our service team provides:
Engine & Generator Service: Oil changes, impeller checks, and cooling system winterization.
Air Conditioning & Refrigeration: Proper drainage and winterization of seawater cooling loops.
Watermakers: Specialized pickling services to preserve membranes during the off-season.

We understand the transition from cruising to storage takes time. We offer transient slips with full amenities (power, water, and Wi-Fi) so you can live comfortably on board while de-provisioning and prepping your vessel for the lift.
-
Yes. If the Caribbean sun or a rough passage took a toll on your finish, our boatyard team can handle everything from minor gelcoat chips to structural fiberglass repairs and bottom painting while your boat is on the hard.

We know offshore deliveries can be unpredictable. Contact our office as you depart the islands or pass through the Norfolk area; we maintain a flexible hauling schedule to accommodate cruisers arriving via the Intracoastal Waterway or the Atlantic.

While your catamaran is being winterized, you can enjoy full access to our clubhouse, laundry facilities, and bathhouses. We also have on-site cabins available for rent if you need to stay on-property after your boat has been decommissioned and shrink-wrapped.
